| Hi! I’m Ethel. I love teaching, getting real enjoyment out of helping people improve, and making it interesting and enjoyable at the same time. I found many techniques from teaching some reluctant teenagers such as playing pop songs which I used for them to learn some English. It was a successful technique that worked. Another approach I have, especially with adult learners, is to find out their interests and then practice conversations by discussing those interests, rather than something randomly picked from a textbook. I also try and get to know my students a little so that the exercises can be more relevant to them Why choose me as a teacher? I focus on developing all skills necessary for mastering the English language. The main aim is to arouse students’ interest, develop English thinking, and break language barriers. During classes, I motivate learners to speak, correct pronunciation where necessary, and help students express their thoughts in English. This method manages to break psychological barriers and the fear of making mistakes.
